Profile

The Quebec Rugby Federation (Rugby Québec) is a non-profit organization that brings together regional associations rugby clubs in the province. It serves as the representative body to the Ministry of Education, World Rugby, the Canadian Rugby Federation (Rugby Canada).

The Federation is active in most regions of Quebec is involved with all age categories.

Our mission

To establish a strong unifying identity for rugby in Quebec by providing guidance fostering the development of the sport at the initiation, recreation, competition, excellence levels, while promoting the fundamental values of rugby.

Our vision

To be the leader of rugby in Quebec in a new era of growth, achieved through increased participation among the youth, active support for stakeholders, efficient administration governance, player development.

Our ambition

To become one of the top 5 team sports practiced by boys girls aged 7 to 19 in Quebec.

Discipline: Discipline is an integral part of the game, both on off the field, is expressed through respect for the Rules of the Game, regulations, values.

Our services

More concretely, our actions include:

• Promoting rugby through our communication tools initiation activities.
• Organizing training sessions for referees coaches in accordance with the standards of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) World Rugby.
• Coordinating activities of the Provincial Rugby League (Ligue provinciale de rugby – LPR).
• Providing accident insurance coverage for all our members.
• Providing guidance for Team Quebec its activities.
