Club Responsibilities
Rugby clubs play a vital role in the development of our sport. Here are their main roles and responsibilities:
1. Athletic development
The primary role of a rugby club is to train players, from mini to senior levels. This includes:

Teaching the rules and techniques of rugby

Developing physical, mental, and tactical skills

Coaching delivered by qualified and passionate instructors
2. Promoting the values of rugby
Rugby is a sport rooted in strong values that the club is responsible for passing on:

3. Supervision and safety
The club must ensure a safe environment for all its members:

It must comply with current safety rules during practices and matches to ensure the physical and moral protection of players.

It must also follow the sport regulations concerning the supervision of players, spectators, and all individuals involved in club activities.
4. Compliance with Rugby Québec and Rugby Canada regulations
The club must adhere to the current technical, disciplinary, and administrative regulations.

5. Participation in Federation activities
The club is encouraged to participate in general assemblies, training sessions, and official competitions.

Development Support Program
All members of clubs and regional associations have the opportunity to submit projects to receive support from Rugby Québec through the Development Support Program. This program was created to assist any organization looking to develop impactful and structured projects at the local or regional level.
