Concussions
The Recreation and Sports Safety Directorate, Recreation and Sports Sector of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has established the Concussion Management Protocol 2nd Edition 2019 which includes procedures, reference tools and a follow-up sheet to recognize the signs and symptoms of a possible concussion, all gathered and available on the Ministry’s website. This tool describes each of the steps from the incident to the full resumption of activities.

Coaching Association of Canada (ACE)
The three components of responsible coaching help ensure that participants, coaches and staff can fully benefit from sport participation in a safe, healthy and fun environment. The three components are: the rule of two, background checks and ethics training.
It should be noted that at Swimming Canada, the rule of two is defined as open and observable environments must be followed by all.
